The Northwoods Collection incorporates Moosehead’s newest line of Moosehead Hybrid Timber Homes. The Hybrid Home are designed for those who want a higher R value wall without giving up the look and feel of a traditional log home. The Hybrid Timber Homes utilize pre-manufactured, pre-cut R25 structural insulated wall panels (SIP’s), Northern White Cedar Log Siding, and our standard open-beam roof system giving it the look of our traditional log homes, but with a higher R-value in the walls. We still love our log homes, but are offering the Hybrid Timber Homes as an alternative to achieve greater R-values in the walls.
